Hi! I’m running the hypertrophy 4d template after the 4d str program and the 6@8 sets of deadlifts are killing me. I have no problems with any other lifts but on the deadlift I feel like I will pass out on every set. It’s not a RPE problem. I can do 4@8 on much higher weights without the same problem. My question is if I can do sets of 4@8 on DL instead and run one more set or will it screw upp the program?
Try doing them without a belt and with a breath between each rep. You really don’t want sets of 6 reps killing you, do you?
Thanks… This worked better then I would like to admit, I didn’t even have to lower the weight, might be time to do something about my weight weight
