How to restart a program after a sudden break due to illness

After a development block in the strength programming, I just finished a high stress week (around week 9) and then get so sick that I get bed ridden and super weak for a whole week. How do I pick up the program?

Week 7 was low stress and week 8 was start of specilzation block. In the middle of week 9, I get sick.

Where do I pick up?

WOuld I still be able to realize the strengh gains from the development block that I did before I got sick and couldn’t eat properly for a week?

What is the best course of action.

Getting sick happens and unfortunately it can do quite a number on training. If there were no time-sensitive training goals coming up, e.g. a meet or similar, I would just restart the program entirely.
