Hypertrophy I - Arm Volume

Hey guys,

Just wondering how you feel about the arm volume in Hypertrophy I? I just feel like 6 sets a week for bis/tris is quite low and I would like to prioritise arm growth. What’re your guys’ thoughts?

Something I started doing as per Hassan’s article recommendations is a 10-minute arm AMRAP superset twice per week. On the first day I do cable pressdowns/db curls and on the second day db skullcrushers/incline db curls. Rather than go to failure each set, it’s better to reach RPE 7-8 each set with 30 seconds of rest between superset.

If you’re trying to prioritize arms right now, then by all means add volume if 6 sets per week isn’t causing growth. Unless your work capacity is garbage, a few more sets of arms iso work isn’t going to kill you.
