Hey all!
I’m just looking for some advice, I’ll try summarise as concisely as I can:
Yesterday I rolled my ankle playing sport. Heard a literal crunch in my foot and instantly was in pain, couldn’t put much weight on it etc. Today its fairly swollen but no bruising. I can walk but am mainly struggling to roll my foot and, for lack of a better description, to lift my foot by bringing my toes towards my shin - if that makes any sense haha.
Pain seems tolerable but I’m a bit anxious for training tomorrow. I’m on week 7 of my first run through PB1. Previously I’ve ran beginner prescription twice, back to back. Given that tomorrow I’ll be squatting and deadlifting I don’t know if its wise to go for my usual weights even if its not that painful.
Should I let my pain dictate how heavy I go or simply go easy on the loading even if pain is tolerable? Or is it even smart to train at all?
I’d really appreciate some advice.
