Interim training before new programming.

Hey team. Hope all is well!

As mentioned elsewhere I am excited to start group programming at the very end of December! I Restarted the beginner template as a reintroduction to doing weights 3x a week up from 2. (I had been doing BBM templates for 6 months before the original drop when covid hit and ramped up endurance work by alot).

​​​​​​I’ve run the full beginner template as well as PB1 in the past and am now ending week 4 of the beginner template. And it’s going well.

My question is. I was going to jump into phase 2 to add more variations and increase volume of training. But as we are so close to the end of the month wondered if I should skip the low stress week at the beginning of phase 2? As this won’t obviously be finished before group programming starts.

As I assume week 1 of group programming will be a form of low stress/ introduction week. Do you think this is a good idea?

Looking forward to having you! If you’re feeling good, skipping the low stress week would be just fine here. You are correct that you only have a couple of weeks before the 26th, so that works!
