As mentioned elsewhere I am excited to start group programming at the very end of December! I Restarted the beginner template as a reintroduction to doing weights 3x a week up from 2. (I had been doing BBM templates for 6 months before the original drop when covid hit and ramped up endurance work by alot).
I’ve run the full beginner template as well as PB1 in the past and am now ending week 4 of the beginner template. And it’s going well.
My question is. I was going to jump into phase 2 to add more variations and increase volume of training. But as we are so close to the end of the month wondered if I should skip the low stress week at the beginning of phase 2? As this won’t obviously be finished before group programming starts.
As I assume week 1 of group programming will be a form of low stress/ introduction week. Do you think this is a good idea?
