Timing of moving to block 2 of PB1

Currently on week 5 of block 1 of PB1. It’s my 1st program since completing the beginner template. I’ve been running it for about 8 or 9 weeks, but started from week 1 half way through the 1st run after missing a week from the flu. Actually ended up running week 1 twice as the 1st week back from the flu didn’t feel great.

1st couple of weeks didn’t see a lot of progress, but the past two weeks lifts are moving. Also have gained 3 pounds since end of beginner template, and waist has stayed roughly the same, so I’d imagine hypertrophy is happening.

That being said, next week will be a normal lift week, but the following week I’m out of town, and won’t be able to lift. Next week should be the low stress week 1 of block 2. That being said, im thinking it makes sense to re-run week 5 next week sense I’ve seen two weeks of progress, then let my off week be the low stress week, and start block 2 block week 2 win I come back from my trip (or maybe week 1, not sure). Thoughts?

Not sure it matters, but 36, 5’9 34.25 inch waist, 171 pounds. Erm’s are B: 220 pounds, S: 350 pounds, DL, 395 pounds.

Also, thanks again for all yall do. I feel like I’m in the best shape of my life.

I think that shifting things so the lower stress week falls during your trip sounds good.
