Hello Doctors, I have been slowly losing weight, improving my cardio conditioning, and kind of stalled at my lifting. But I just stubbed my toe and I am trying to figure if I can manage any cardio at all at the moment. I have access to a rowing machine and a skierg at my gym, maybe some type of one legged row, but even standing for the erg is going to be rough right now.
I meeting an orthopedic surgeon Monday. Will need a pin.

Sorry to hear about this, David.
You’re likely to get weight bearing restrictions after you meet with ortho. That said, arm ergometer, seated ski erg, and rowing with your affected foot on a skateboard so it can slide would all work.
Heal up quickly!

Thank you. I suppose an assault bike with just the arms would work as well?

Yes. That would be totally fine!
No surgery needed. No heavy squats or deadlifts for two weeks, no jumping, no treadmill. Cleared to use a rower.
I am feeling good about this short training interuption.
