Is trap bar deadlift a good replacement for leg press?

Moved to a new gym and it does no’t have a leg press. A lot of your programs have leg presses in them and I enjoyed doing them, however, now I am not able too. My new gym does have a trap bar deadlift and I experimented with it a little bit and it felt pretty similar to a leg press. Would these be a reasonable alternative to a leg press?

You could, sure, though I’d prefer something like a belt squat, split squat, box step ups, or hack squats over them in this context.
