Landing training for extreme sports

Hi all,

I want to lower the injury risk of hard landings in mountain biking, wakeboarding and snowboarding. Would adding depth jumps to my program and just progressing them in height and reps (carefully and conservatively) do the job? Any other training ideas?

Depends what your program looks like now and how long you’ve been doing those activities. That said, I don’t think adding (or removing) depth jumps is likely to make any difference in injury risk from these sports, as most injuries aren’t overuse in nature.
