So recently I noticed that while in the deadlift set up right before the actual pull, my right knee track about 1/2 inch passed my left. My feet are lined up and the bar is over the middle of my foot so it seems there’s a slight difference of leg length. If I attempt to touch both of my shins to the bar while my feet are even, the right knee tracks forward and sets that shin at a completely different angle. However, if I let my right foot track back to a slightly unaligned foot position, my shin angles even out and the bar tracks up only my left shin during the pull. What would you guys/girls say the best way to deal with this issue is? I’ve read about putting a shim in a shoe but I’m not sure if I could get a quality measurement of which part of which leg is longer w/o going to the dr and getting an x ray. Thanks for any advice.
Wouldn’t worry about it or pay too much attention to it. Keep training and progressing normally and all is likely to be fine.
