I’m currently doing the Time Crunch/Pivot program before starting the Strength template. Today is Day 2, bench day, but I’ve come down with terrible sinusitis/pharyngitis and feel like crap. I dragged myself out of bed this morning and forced myself to do just competition bench, 5 sets of 5 at an RPE of 7, which is really not consistent with the Time Crunch template for today.
My plan was to do the same for deadlift day after tomorrow if I still don’t feel up to a full workout.
I’m figuring it’s better than doing nothing, but is this strategy doing anything useful for me? Am I better off just taking the time off until I am over this cold?
