hello, I’m 5’9” 158 pounds and I’ve been trying to gain weight . However whenever I go into a caloric surplus I get this constant nausea. Sometimes I get nausea when I wake up just from eating so much the night before (I’m guessing). I aim to eat 3,300-3,500 calories a day. My question is: should I lower my caloric intake to somthing that’s more comfortable and I’m used to (I can eat 2,700 calories pretty easily) and then slowly add 200 calories every week?
Try 3000 calories a day first. Eat slowly, eat more frequent meals, and you may consider incorporating liquid calories to make it easier.
