Hi team
Hope you are all staying safe and your businesses don’t suffer too much from what is happening right now.
I’m an internist/PCP and have benefited greatly, as have my patients, from your work. I feel infinitely more confident and comfortable managing peripheral joint and low back pain and “injuries,” whatever that means, then before I came across BBM. However, I still struggle with neck pain. I find it difficult to utilize the concepts I have learned from you guys around load management and rehabilitation. Very few people directly do anything with their necks, at least on purpose. I see no reason why they/we can’t, as you guys always say we are sturdy and highly adaptable biologic organisms. So my question is…for people with nonspecific neck pain, “soreness,” “tightness” etc are there any neck specific movements or activities that you ever recommend? Right now I am trying to work on load management (if they are sitting all day in one position or over utilizing one movement, try to reduce that) but I don’t have any great ways of slowly and gently loading the tissues. Do you use any of the weird neck contraptions for lifting such as https://www.theneckflex.com/ ?
Appreciate your input and thanks for everything
