Next template for first responder

Hey BBM Team,
I’ve been running the BB2 3 day template with great success. PR’s on Squat and deadlift with a noticeable increase in muscle gains. It’s probably been the most enjoyable program I’ve ran due to the variety and double progression but I definitely need to up the cardio/conditioning for work related purposes (firefighter) and general health. I have the titan template but I have zero desire to do the oly lifts/ gymnastics work. Should I add extra conditioning/ a few metcons a week to the BB2 template or go with something completely new like the GSC2? Also, I caddie 1-3 a week at how would I count this towards conditioning or don’t count it all?

Hmm, you could do BB2 + more conditioning, for sure. I wouldn’t use metcons for this purpose though, especially if your aerobic base needs some development. If it’s me, I’d favor the 3-day version of the General Strength and Conditioning II template.

I would count the caddying as activity, not exercise, as I don’t think it’s of sufficient intensity to do a lot for your cardiorespiratory performance. It certainly counts as activity though!

Absolutely. Played Dye’s Valley in '21 while I was there because the stadium course was closed before The Player’s. Need to get back that way to check that one off the list!
