Thanks for the post and welcome to the forum
I think that the answer to this depends on the individual’s response to caffeine. If someone is more sensitive and has problems with sleep anyway then I probably wouldn’t compound the sleep issue (potentially) with caffeine and additionally, I’d see if I could move the workout earlier in the day.
On the other hand, if someone does not exhibit this sort of sensitivity to caffeine and has previously tolerated caffeinated beverages 4-5 hours prior to their desired bed time …game on.
