Powerball/Grip Trainers/Grip isos for forearm/finger rehab?

Is something like the Powerball (gyroscopic grip ball) considered useful in a general “RSI” or similar rehab context? I’ve seen numerous approaches, including iso grips on a softball, rice or sand bucket exercises, or paper curling, etc, but I’m not sure what would be considered the most broadly useful. The Powerball seems to be relatively popular and seems to tick a number of boxes, including wrist flexion/extension, but unsure if it’s recommended.
