Hi guys, I just started a full time job so fitting in training (I recently bought Powerbuilding I) is a bit awkward. I have to wait until quite late after work before the gym is less busy to train by which point I’m pretty tired and going out to the gym is the last thing I want to do.
Is it feasible to do Powerbuilding I on the weekends only (I have unlimited time on those days more or less) for example:
- week 1: A workout Sat and B workout Sunday, week 2: C workout Sat and A workout Sunday, if that makes sense. I was also thinking of doing
- A/B/C Fri, Sat and Sun, since I can sleep in on the Saturday after Friday nights workout.
I am starting a PhD in September, so this is my schedule just for the next 6-7 months after which I’ll have much more time to train. Also, I want to lose about 10-15lbs of bodyfat so gaining muscle isn’t my main concern right now.
I realise that either of these strategies would be inferior to training on non-consecutive days but could it still work well results wise?
