Powerbuilding or Hypertrophy1?

About 6 months training in coming after a gap of several years. Lost a little over 40lbs and seem to have held on to my muscle well, but looking for a change in programming. Goal is to lose around another 30 while minimizing muscle loss on the way down, then reworking myself back up the right way lol. Which of the two?

Both would build muscle , the question is what are your goals as far as training. If you’d like to build strength in the big 3, do powerbuilding. If you don’t care about that and only want to build muscle , do hypertrophy.
