Purchased 12 week strength but should I run hypertrophy first ?

Just purchased the 12 week strength template , however I just PR’d last week. Running a light deload week right now. I remember a few people saying before about alternating between the hypertrophy template and this one , just double checking that’s the ideal way to go. It makes sense to me since it would run like a normal peaking cycle , build work capacity and volume up , build more muscle , and then start focusing on strength. And then I assume I can keep alternating them for quite a while ?

They are good templates to cycle, yes. However you’ll likely do just fine with the strength template first. PRs before that template are just fine!

I found this a while back and it has helped guide me. I’m just finishing the brdige 1.0 and moving on to the hypertrophy template next.

Ok thank you! I’ll get the hypertrophy template and just wait. With that being said I notice it’s only a 3 day a week program , if I wanted to go 4 days like I normally do what would you suggest ?

The reason I ask is because I’d like to focus on growing my chest arms and traps , although with the increased benching volume perhaps it would take care of itself.
