quickest way to recover from old brachial plexus injury

Gentleman,
I am a 56 year old male with a 38 year old brachial plexus injury on right arm from motorcycle accident.
I started lifting weights about 2 years ago with very little range of motion or strength on right side.
I am following the BBM Hypertrophy template Full body workouts.(with good results)
my Question is would I be better served to focus only on right arm exercises or continue doing full body workouts for fastest right side recovery?
Thanks Doug Carr

I’m a decade younger but in the exact same situation. Also, perhaps due to all the muscle loss and lack of innervation, the right side has developed “moderate to severe” osteoarthritis. Very interested in learning the answer.

I would certainly continue doing full-body workouts, but there wouldn’t be anything wrong with adding specific unilateral work to the affected side either.

I would not stop doing full-body training, however.

Thanks Austin,
I will add in the unilateral work.

To Mr Bro don’t wait another 10 years like I did start training that arm as much as you can use it for everything no matter how silly it may look.
