Rack Pulls.

I have been doing SS linear progression for several months and failed on the squat (with 310 pounds) for the second time. I believe this is best time for me to start the bridge. I noticed on day 1- there are rack pulls in the programming. At one point, I overheard the manager of the gym say that rack pulls damage the barbell and he was bragging about kicking out someone that did them. Should I take a chance and do them anyways or should I throw in an alternative? If I do something instead of the rack pulls would I do the same rep range and rpe?

I enjoy the website and content. Thank you.

Is there a way for you to set the bar up on some blocks? You can get the same sort of effect from training block pulls.

If not, you’ll just have to do some other variant from the floor, like a paused deadlift for example.

I honestly didn’t think of putting it on blocks. Thank you. I think this sounds like a fair compromise.
