What us the reasoning behind programming hip thrust into the some of the templates? Do they have carryover, or is it just for some posterior chain hypertrophy?

As far as why I’ve programmed the hip thrust in a few of the non PL-specific templates- I think there’s some benefit to improving strength in the frontal plane and there’s evidence that hip thrusts improve sprinting, jumping, and glute CSA. For nonspecific work, I think this is a reasonable choice.
