Is there any recommendations on how I could shorten the super total template to maybe 12 weeks instead of 16? I have a tournament I would like a few weeks to prepare for in October in an unrelated sport but would still like to at least do a semblance of the program. Thanks.

Thanks for the post. One thought here is to not shorten it, as I don’t know that the program needs to be fit to your competitive timeline. In other words, let’s say you have a softball tournament in 12 weeks. I don’t think lining up a program like this with the date of the tournament is likely to matter. Instead, I’d plan on doing a low stress week the week preceding and following the tournament, then returning to the template.
In this specific template, I’d skip week 12 and do week 13 (the low stress week) for two weeks in a row. Then, I’d jump back into the program for weeks 14-16.
