Should I take any other supplement but Creatine and Whey?

Hi Doc,

After years following BM, it seems that only those two supplements which work are Creatine and Whey, am I understanding that correctly?

The reason I’ve asked the question is because of my recovery. My background is 34 years old, bodyweight 75kg, height: 5’9 (around 174cm), big 3 are: SQ 155kg, DL 200kg, BP: 100kg. I have had ADHD and anxiety disorder since I was a kid (diagnosed), yet I’ve stopped taking pills since 2021 because they made me feel less creative than I am without one. I have an issue with my recovery, particularly, I couldn’t sleep well, and it has been happening for years. As you know, there are so many “nutritionists” out there on social media suggesting different types of supplements, from fish oil, vitamin D3, and Magnesium Bisglycinate, to something with fancy names like Kanna, Rhodiola Rosea. So should I give a try for any of them, or they are all BS and I need just to stick to Creatine Monohydrate and Whey?

Thank you, Jordan.

I think there are other supplements that can improve performance during a workout and adaptations from workouts. They are contained in our supplement, Peri Rx:

I think it’s useful to work with your health care provider(s) to come up with the correct treatment for your condition, whether that be medication, medication + behavioral therapy, and/or others. There are also non-stimulant medications that may be beneficial.

I do not think fish oil, vitamin D, magnesium, or rhodiola have evidence showing benefit with supplementation out side of very specific instances that do not apply to you.
