Squat stance

Hi! I want to stand wider when I squat. This is because I think I could potentially be stronger in that position. Do you have any tips on how to proceed if you want to stand wider?
is it worth a try? I Have felt it in the groin before when I go straight from a narrower stance to a wider stance. I think this is because I have a tight groin(?), if you can say that… Currently, I have my legs placed just below the shoulders, maybe a little narrower.

I would just adopt the wider stance for one squat variant per week and autoregulate the load using RPE. You can increase the frequency over time, but I don’t think you need a super special plan for trying out a wider stance squat.
