Squat stance

I have terrible hip flexor pain and range of motion with too wide of a stance. But how narrow should someone go for comfort and depth ? How narrow is too narrow. ? And are there any pros/cons to wider or more narrow ? Thanks

There isn’t really a “too narrow” that any of us can give you, except that too narrow can inhibit your ability to reach depth in the squat. If you do better with a narrower stance, that allows you to train, and you’re reaching the ROM that you need, then go for it!
