Sumo Deadlift and Acessory work

Dear BBM Team,

If I were to decide to start training the sumo deadlift in their programming for a competition, should I also start doing the deadlift accessory work with a sumo stance as well? For example, paused deadlift and deficit work would be pulled at sumo stance rather than conventional?
Thank you for spreading your knowledge and experience. Also I just finished The Bridge 1.0 and loved it. Fixing to start the 12 week Strength Program to train for a USAPL meet in November.

There isn’t “one” way to do this. I have multiple competitive lifters who pull sumo in competition, most of whom always maintain some form of conventional pulling on their supplemental pulls. Just depends on how proficient you are with sumo, and what phase of training you’re in relative to competition.
