Tailbone pain

Hello first time to post and haven’t really read the rules.

My question is, is it ok to continue training with a tailbone pain? I recently felt a sharp pain in my lower back, I noticed it started after sitting for a long while, due to work, but the day before that I did some weight lifting, squats, barbell rows, and bench press, I didn’t feel any pain during or after the workout so not sure what really caused it, or my butt was just waiting for this moment. I’ve been lifting for just two weeks, so very very novice.

Anyhow, what I also noticed is that I can’t raise my right leg while standing up, straight leg raise, was just checking what else could be wrong, but my left is fine.

appreciate any advice, I want to continue lifting by friday. Btw I worked out today, squats dl and op, the pain is now worse.

What, exactly, do you mean when you say you “can’t raise your leg”?

Hi Doc Austin, like a toy soldier marching, marching without bending the knees. It’s more painful if I do it with my right.

Actually, I don’t think I can train tomorrow anymore, I can barely move without feeling pain.

Hi Doc. I took an NSAID and will continue to train. Though just to note that after taking some it did alleviate the pain, I can move around, but I still can’t bend over without pain, so I workaround it by bending my knees.
