The Bridge to hypertrophy

Hey Team,

Been following the Barbell Medicine team for a few weeks. Currently running the bridge then moving to hypertrophy 1 when finished. I had a few questions.

Is there much of a difference between an ez bar compared to a barbell for curls?

If I don’t have dumbbells will I still be able to do the hypertrophy program properly?

How much caffeine is too much ? Currently 168 lbs at 5feet 6

Thanks for the post and I hope you’re doing well. A few answers:

  1. No reliably significant difference between EZ bar and straight bar curls.
  2. Yep, you get to pick your own exercises :slight_smile:
  3. The generally accepted range is 3-9mg of caffeine/kg bodyweight. I’d start on the low end and work up from there.

To follow this up what are your thoughts on “sports drinks” like bang?
