Training with an infection

What is your stand on training while having a sore throat and/or a cold with runny/stuffy nose?

As long as the soreness isn’t to bad or I run a fever I tend to train as normal. I might need to adjust the weights a bit and the throat gets a bit sorer during the training. But it usually calms down after an hour of rest.

Is there any draw backs or risk that makes a week of resting a better option then just ignoring it and continue training? I know there is risk of myocarditis when training with a more severe infection/fever but should one be concerned even with milder infections?

This is what I do as well.
