what do you do when youre sick?

do you train through illness, take time off, or train but w/lighter weights or less volume??? at what point is training going to get in the way of recovering from the illness? am i wasting my time if i train with a nasty ass chest-head cold or something like strep throat??? what do you guys do???

It honestly depends on the person and the illness, as there is always a risk:benefit profile that needs to be assessed.

That said, 99% of the time I try and train through an illness if I am not contagious and I can get out of bed.
