Just finished up the 12 Week Press template. Made a 35lb jump in my squat, only 15 in the Press, and 30 for the deadlift. That doesn’t seem too great but I averaged the same gains in the two runs of PH3 then the Bridge and now this template. Seeing that I’ve done four straight strength programs in a row what are your thoughts on either running the peaking template or doing the hypertrophy trainer as a sort of deload/pivot and then going back into the press template? I don’t have any plans for meets or competition and I want to at least maintain some of the progress I’ve made.
I’d do the hypertrophy template here. The peaking template is just that-a peak, not a real training block. And if you completed the 12 week program, that took you through a peak already.
