Ab wheel

Which ab wheel is recommended?

I just got a cheap one from Amazon a couple years ago and it still works like a charm.

OMG, let’s not overthink the ab wheel. I see a lot of things being way over analyzed, like wrist straps. I see people saying that the ones with a loop aren’t worth anything, total trash! Really? I’ve used those forever and they have been perfectly fine.

OMG, the looped wrist straps are badly thought-out pieces of crap that…
a.) depending on material, build quality and how much you lift will rip sooner or later mid-lift (seen it happen multiple times)
b.) and get longer mid-lift by squeezing your wrists tighter and tighter (this is not as bad as the first issue but still an annoyance once you’re used to proper straps that don’t do this)

@JurisSquatter … “Silliness” is quite the silly argument too, you know? But do what you wish… I’ve seen them rip mid-lift not long ago, no way I’m buying those stupid bodybuilding type looped straps. My simple straight seatbelt material straps cost me less than 1$ btw… so there goes your argument with “feel free to spend your money on silly crap”.

Oh and your argument regarding expensive heeled weightlifting shoes is uninformed as well. Depending on anthropometry they might be necessary for some people to reach depth and they do make a huge difference if you’re doing the olympic lifts. Oh and I forgot to mention: I’m personally using flats for years now because I need to cut depth and I feel tighter towards the bottom of the squat in flats.
