Am I to do both bicep exercises twice a week? Or, just biceps in general twice a week. One day the first bicep exercise, another day the second bicep exercise. I ask because one could end up doing 16 sets of biceps in a week. That’s direct bicep work, so not even including their use in rows and chins. Thank you.
Ah, I see how that could be confusing. I’d prefer to start with 2x/wk direct arms training- so do each one biceps exercise once per week. I’ll see if I can update the template to make it more clear!
Well I’ll be, I did the whole program once before, and am in the middle of block 1 right now, and I’ve been doing both biceps exercises 2x/week. How many sets do you think most people should shoot for at max for the week? I still don’t feel like my arms have grown that much, so it seems like I should just keep doing what I was doing haha.
Oops, so if I’m doing block 2 right now I shouldn’t be doing 10 sets of spider curls AND 8 sets of incline DB curls in week 4? If I’ve already started on this path should I keep going? I don’t feel the 26 sets combined of bis/tris/abs and running is too much, though admittedly it’s a bit of a time sink.
Oh I was wondering why my GPP days during the BB template took so dang long!!!
I did the same, and (with hindsight) ended up doing far too much arm volume before I was ready for it.
I also perhaps did too much ab work. I’m guessing your intention for that was the same for arms? i.e. the 2 listed ab exercises should be done once each per week, instead of both twice a week?
