Beginners template question

I’m currently running the beginners template phase one I saw that the other phases add arm work to the GPP days would it be ok if I did extra arm work before moving phases one biceps and one tricep exercise once or twice a week? Time in the gym isn’t a issue and I’d like to grow my arms

I probably wouldn’t, as I think the extra training may bump training stress up unnecessarily in this phase. There’s quite a bit of indirect arm work in the phase, so they’re definitely getting a good bit of stimulus. I would hold off if you can.
