Good Morning, I am currently running 12 week strength V2. I no longer care about improving my overhead press and I would like to focus more on my comp bench as it seems to be pretty stuck. I was thinking about removing the comp press on day 1 and moving comp bench from day 2 to day 1 and replace my day 2 slot with another bench variation.
1- Could this be a good option for improving strength in the bench or would it cause too much volume throughout the course of the training week?
2- if this can be an option, which bench variations would you recommend to fill the open slot ?
