Continuous muscle pulling

Hey, so I have continuously pulled muscles in my neck while lifting. I’m not sure what I am doing to strain the muscles to the point of injury.

Its the muscle that runs from the back of my neck to about the middle middle of my upper back, just under my shoulder blade.

I was wondering what you would suggest to prevent me from pulling these muscles in th future.

Heres a video of it happenijg recently, at the top of my lift I felt the muscle stretching and immediately set the weight down. There was no pain at first, but now my neck is in pain when I move it and is super stiff.
