Cramps during training, what do?

I’ve been getting cramps during my training sessions. For instance, my forearms cramp when I rack the bar on my back or my quads start to cramp by my final set of squats.I usually drink around a liter of water throughout the day before I train. Any suggestions on what I should supplement to help combat this? Thanks

Cramping by your final set of squats is most likely fatigue-related, and should improve with time and adaptation. You may need to modify your loading or training volume if it is a prohibitive issue right now, however.

Forearm cramping with the bar on the back is a new one to me, and sounds pretty unusual. You don’t need to be death-gripping the bar, and you may be able to ameliorate this by experimenting with other aspects of your grip or positioning.

I went on and google I think I found the name of the muscle that is cramping. It looks likes it maybe the brachioradialis. Thanks for the the response! I’ll play around with my grip and be more conscious of how hard I am gripping.
