I spent several years off of barbell training after COVID, and have been doing one hour daily LISS on a stationary bike for the past year to lose fat. I recently bought the equipment for a home gym within the past few weeks to get back into lifting. 30 YO Male 6ā, 39" waist, 205 lbs. for context. How many days would you recommend me doing LISS during the beginner Rx program if I have that level of activity going into lifting again?
I think 60-min of activity 5d/wk of LISS is sufficient for both health and body comp. Other efforts Iād pour into lifting weights and a healthy dietary pattern.
