Hi Docs,
I have calluses on my palms at the base of my fingers but they are getting torn off by the bar when I try and deadlift heavier weights.
This is pretty painful and makes finishing my heavy sets harder than they should be due to the open wounds on my hands.
I normally use a double overhand grip. I have tried using a mixed grip but the tears still happen on the pronated hand.
Any tips for keeping this from happening or some ways to keep lifting heavy while the wounds heal?
