Hello, I just bought the General S&C I program with the intent of using the 2 Day template for strength while training up for a 50K. This will be the first time I have incorporated barbell strength into an endurance train up. I was thinking about swapping in a single leg lunge or split squat for one of the leg movements. Any thoughts or advice on incorporating this template while training for an ultra? Or any thought on exercise swaps?
Thanks for joining the forum and the thoughtful post. I think the single leg work is reasonable. I’d swap it in for the posterior chain work. The rest of the exercise selection is pretty much dealer’s choice. Use the drop down menus to see some of our favorites. If you’re really craving something else that’s not listed, you can write it in as well.
