Hi all, looking for advice please. I purchased the beginner program a couple of years ago and wondering if this is the right program for me. I’ve had ongoing back issues for the last 9 years that stopped me body building, mainly focused on isolation movements. I’m now in a position where I’m picking weights up lightly again and my back appears to be improving. my goal, is to complete a cut then look to build up some lost muscle, whilst maintaining the athletic look as well as maintaining cycling and walking. is the beginner still going to add value or is something else best fitting
Sounds like a good choice if you’re starting over, did you run the program previously? I ran it following some injury rehab and had good results a few years back then moved onto the hypertrophy template as I was looking to build up as well (that was great too until COVID got in the way haha). I think the Beginner Program is great general starting point whatever the long term goal tbf (note - unless of course you’re still experiencing pain issues.. if that’s the case a more tempered approach may be more fitting initially ie back rehab template or a consult with BBM / trusted DPT etc)
