Does it matter which lift I chose for squat variation on day 2? Looking for the best quad exercise from the options provided. I do have a SSB bar and day one is SSB squat.

I’d love to see a hatfield squat or hatfield split squat in this slot. I think those are the best options for this application in our Hypertrophy I program.
In reality, most squat variations probably drive similar muscle growth for the quads. I think the biggest factors are fatigue management, preferences, and how well an individual can actually train the movement (e.g. technique, loading, attitude, etc.) For my money, the hatfield squat wins in this comparison.
Thank you so much Jordan! I ended up doing front squats this morning as I was in a time crunch but next time I’ll get my SSB bar in place to try these out. Yes it has been a while but I’m going to be more active in here now! I’m on block 2 of the new Hyper 1 program.
