Hypertrophy gen 2

Hello guys couple questions.

  1. I love the programming of the new hypertrophy template but Im to used to running 5 week blocks and I quite like it that way . Is it necessary to run it the full 10 weeks or say from week 3 i skip the rest and jump to week 7?

  2. just an offtopic question for Rdl. My first rep starts off the floor and the rest Rdl. Should i count that first rep towards the given prescrition ?

It’s not necessary to run the entire block, no. However, I think hypertrophy takes ~ 4-6 weeks to get going, hence the longer block. This isn’t to say that the length of the block should reflect this time line, provided someone is engaging in training that drives hypertrophy. Still, I think the longer block is probably a good idea for most in this specific program. That would be my preference, but you’re free to do what you want.

I would count the first rep of that RDL, yes.
