Hey folks, I’d like to ask which template to buy.
Age: 34
Height/weight: 6’3, 231
Strength based lifting consistently 3x/week since 2018. Lift 1RMs are not great, as I value time in gym more, and don’t rush for the numbers compromising my life. Lifting is more of a therapeutic experience, even though I’d appreciate better numbers.
SQ untested for long time, should be ~410-420, strict OHP (I don’t bench) 155, DL 440.
Looking for a strength/PL template, 3x/week, OHP instead of bench, I have access to a well-equipped gym, not wanting to compete, only against myself. I don’t like RPE, but I could give it another shot. Tried out SS at first, then played around with myriads of programs, Sheiko works for me but grinds me into the ground in a few months, Juggernaut left me feeling weak, I usually don’t get better for peaking, I can bust out my best maxes at the end of a loading/strength phase, I appreciate shorter deloads before peaking.
Thinking about Strength I or II, III seems mandatory 4 days, which is a no-go for me.
TLDR I know my way around weights, my technique is ingrained, I want new stimulus.
