Low Fatigue Strength Template with Overhead Press Focus?

Hi Team

I’ve recently picked up the low fatigue template, and i see that it can be run with OHP as the main exercise for the pressing movement. I do love OHP, any thoughts on which of the other pressing movements to chose in order to make the template more OHP focused rather than BenchPress Focused? (A bit like the Strengthlifting template I guess?)

Cheers!

I like the following:

  1. 2-count paused press above forehead
  2. Pin press (shoulder level)
  3. Pin press (above forehead)
  4. Press + chains
  5. Football bar press
  6. Seated Press
  7. DB Press
  8. Wide grip press
  9. Push Press Should get you started!

Too easy! Thanks for that,

Is there any importance in terms of which of the above accessories exercises go where (in terms of Supplemental Presses, Accessory Press), or just pick whatever sparks joy from the options available?

We would typically put the more “competition” lift-specific stuff in supplemental slots, and the less-specific stuff in the accessory slots – but even this isn’t a hard rule.

After following you guys for a bit and reading the included ebook for the program, it just seems like exercise selection for supplemental and accessory slots doesn’t really “matter” as long as you’re enjoying them and can adhere to doing them. Is there a “point” in trying to find supplemental and accessory exercises that will generate the best performance results for the competition lifts or does it not really matter?
