64 year man was diagnosed with osteoarthritis heberden’s nodes on thumb’s CMC joint. Is there same food or supplements he can take to relieve same of the pain?
Hi there. This is very common, but unfortunately there are no foods that would significantly modify this process.
I would use a CMC Thumb splint and try topical NSAIDs like diclofenac gel (which is a prescription medicine).
