Hi. Is it “normal” to feel pain in the biceps after benchpressing?
Holy crap. I thought I was the only one who had experienced this. It rarely happens, but I’m always shocked when it does. I’m curious as to why this happens as well. My completely worthless opinion…maybe the biceps act as ‘brakes’ on the eccentric portion of the lift? Then manifest DOMS in proportion to load & volume?

Overall, often times things don’t feel as we expect them but it doesn’t necessarily mean anything is “wrong”.
