Paraovarian cysts & training

Hello, female here! I am 20 years old and I have been weight training for 4 years, as well as dancing for 4-8 hours a week. I’ve recently been diagnosed with a paraovarian cyst of 6cm, qualified for surgery in about a month or two from now. Until then, should I adjust my weight training (mix of strength training in squat, bench, deadlift and hypertrophy work with machines etc) and dance intensity? Some doctors advised me not to lift at all, while others suggested to only avoid any extreme positions of my torso (especially when dancing) to avoid my cyst bursting. What are your medical thoughts?

What specific symptoms/concerns led to this evaluation and diagnosis?

If you have been training without issues so far, I do not see a good reason to make substantial modifications before surgery.

I have had multiple vaginal ultrasounds every 6 months and the cyst was under 3.5 cm and therefore not necessary to remove it. However a few days ago I went to the hospital with severe pain in the middle part of the abdomen, they did all sorts of check ups as well as an abdominal ultrasound and they found the cyst to have grown up to 6cm. The previous day late at night I had a 2 hour intense dance practice, as well as a gym session earlier. I don’t know whether it has to do with the pain, but I was advised the above until I remove the cyst. I have not felt any pain while training or dancing except once while doing hip thrusts, but the past few months my ovulation has been significantly more painful than usual. Thanks in advance for the reply!
