Day 1 exercises include squat with belt and press with belt. I don’t want to use belt for either of these exercises (for no good reason other than I cannot be bothered to carry a belt as my gym doesn’t have one and won’t allow me to leave one there, the belt is a bloody pain in the arse to carry around to work etc) is that ok?
Same question for day 3 deadlift with belt. If I don’t use a belt, is it ok?
So is it really beneficial to use a belt or I’m not missing out on much especially if I don’t have a history of easily getting injured without belt?
You can live a full and complete life without ever using a lifting belt, but you won’t lift as much weight…which is totally fine, right? RIGHT?

That’s right Jordon. I don’t care if I can’t lift as much weight. I do care that I’m getting stronger over time, however.
Who’s Jordon?
You can get stronger without using a belt, just not as strong as you would with a belt.
Sorry I meant Jordan!
So if 2 identical people trained in exactly the same way except one used a belt and one didn’t- at the end of 3 months if they were to test their strength WITHOUT a belt, the person who trained with a belt will be stronger?
Maybe, if they’re doing some beltless work too. The belted individual would likely be stronger though, yes.
